Tesda official found dead in Zamboanga del Sur

A TOP official of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) died in his sleep in the province of Zamboanga del Sur, the police reported on Wednesday, December 20.

The police said that Engineer Edgar Sales, 59, Tesda regional director, was found dead around 7 a.m., Tuesday, December 19, inside his rented staff house at OLT School Campus in the village of Balangasan, Pagdaian City.

The police said Sales was discovered "dead on his bed" by his driver, Victor Barredo, who was about to fetch the official.

Investigation further revealed the official's cadaver "was free from any wounds, abrasions, and/or contusions as potential indications of intentional death."

Sales was a resident of Carangan village, Ozamiz City. (SunStar Philippines)
