NO one, but no one can match the bluest, most brilliant, Christmas tree in town, only found at the cavernous Radisson Blu Cebu lobby!
Celebration centered on the hotel’s seventh anniversary and launch of the holiday season, with an event appropriately called “Starry Nights at the Blu.” As all eyes riveted on the iconic 32-foot tree ablaze with ice and royal blue balls and white tinsel sparkles, the rites began!
Doing “royal blue” honors were hotel general manager Laurent Boisdron, Cebu Provincial Vice Gov. Agnes Magpale, president of SM Hotels and Conventions Corp. (SMHCC) Elizabeth Sy, executive vice-president of SMHCC Peggy Angeles and country director of Smile Train Philippines Kimmy Flaviano.
A magnificent choral program was directed by SMHCC brand ambassador Nestor Jardin, who made sure the entertainment was focused on family, friends and community. Featured were unforgettable Broadway hits and classic yuletide tunes performed by songstress Anna Fegi-Brown, a Manila tenor who took our breath away, Arman Ferrer, the popular University of the Visayas Chorale and the much-in-demand Cebu Philharmonic Orchestra.
After hearty cocktails and warm camaraderie, guests wished each other a memorable Christmas and a bountiful New Year!
