Gunmen rob business couple

FOUR gunmen held-up and robbed a business couple of P179,000 and valuables in the province of Zamboanga del Sur, the police said.

Chief Inspector Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the victims as Juanito Guanzon, 36, businessmen, and his wife, Rochelle.

Galvez said the incident happened around 7 p.m. Thursday at Purok Waling-Waling in the village of Napolan, Pagadian City.

She said investigation showed the couple have just arrived at their residence and were held up at gunpoint by two gunmen after they disembarked from the vehicle.

Two other gunmen stayed outside the Guanzon’s residence and served as lookout while the other two divested the victims of cash and valuables.
