IT’S the time of the year again when Filipinos celebrate the holidays with Filipino movies as Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) brings an exciting movie lineup.
Ongoing until Jan. 1, the eight official entries of MMFF will be shown in SM Cinemas nationwide.
“All of You” is a romantic comedy directed by Dan Villegas and starring Jennylyn Mercado and Derek Ramsay.
Coco Martin directed and stars in “Ang Panday.” It is about a man whose life is turned upside-down when he realizes his bloodline is destined to save humanity.
“Deadma Walking” is a musical dramedy that tells the story of a terminally ill gay man who fakes his own death so he could hear how his friends view him during the wake.
Regal Entertainment brings the “Haunted Forest,” the only horror movie in this year’s MMFF lineup.
Actor Paulo Avelino stars in his first musical film: “Ang Larawan.”
Vic Sotto’s comeback in the MMFF is courtesy of “Meant to Beh,” a family movie.
“Siargao,” a story directed by Paul Soriano, brings a colorful twist in the love story of its stars Jericho Rosales, Erich Gonzales and Jasmine Curtis-Smith. The film also shows the exceptional beauty of Siargao.
Finally, Vice Ganda teams up with Daniel Padilla and Pia Wurtzbach in “Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad.” (PR)
