Drug peddler nabbed on Christmas day

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Not even Christmas day can stop local authorities here from implementing the law against bad elements as it arrested one suspected drug peddler on December 25.

City police chief Superintendent Roland Agohob said suspect Rolando Nucom, 37, was arrested in an anti-illegal operation launched by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit in Northville 1 Barangay Calulut.

Panlilio, who is known with his alias “Macho,” was listed as a newly-identified drug personality after receiving reports that he sells illegal drugs around the community.

Confiscated from the suspect’s possession were four sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu and P500 marked money.

Agohob said Panlilio, who is currently detained at the city police station, will be facing charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act.
