More prohibited firecrackers seized in Bulacan

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- The Police Regional Office (PRO)-Central Luzon confiscated more prohibited firecrackers in Bulacan on Friday, December 29.

PRO-Central Luzon Director Police Chief Superintendent Amador Corpus said that among the illegal firecrackers seized were 11 bundles of Pla-Pla, three pieces of Goodbye Maute, 12 pieces Super Kome with Bomb, 200 pieces Pla-Pla, two kilograms fuses, two kilograms chemical compound and hundreds of paper tubes (tupi).

Meanwhile, Jeffrey De Guzman, 36, married, resident of Barangay San Martin 4, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, was arrested by authorities after being caught selling illegal firecracker products.

Corpus reiterated his reminder to the public to refrain from using prohibited firecrackers to avoid any untoward incident during the celebration of the New Year. (PR)
