MABALACAT CITY – There will be a whole-day power interruption in this city on January 9, 2018.
In its advisory, the Pampanga II Electric Cooperative 2 (Pelco 2) stated that all barangays here and its service areas at Barangay Santa Lucia in Magalang town will be affected by the nine-hour power outage.
The power interruption will start at 8 a.m. and will last until 5:30 p.m., the electric cooperative added.
Pelco 2 scheduled the power outage to give way for the installation and energization of power circuit breaker at the Mabiga substation.
Aside from this, there is also a scheduled pole erection along the MacArthur Highway from Barangay Mabiga to San Francisco.
Other reasons include the trimming of trees, clearing of lines, area maintenance works, and others.
