FOURTEEN persons were arrested while P150,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized in simultaneous drug busts at San Juan Baybay, Barangay 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental Sunday afternoon.
Personnel of San Carlos City Police Station led by Superintendent D’Artagnan Katalbas in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Western Visayas and Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB)-Western Visayas raided a suspected drug den past 5 p.m.
Arrested were Jose Palabrica, 54; Peter Rovir, 29; Ryan Guillen, 33; Jayban Rosalejos, 21; Niño Kim Bartulin, 32; Amado Palabrica, 47; Rhea Bartulin, 31; Elma Fernandez, 56; Ramil Enardecido, 29; Julius Cesar Bermejo, 27; Jordan Alec, 42; Bryan Fernandez, 32; Jesrell Paslon, 21; and Ariel Paslon, 23.
Confiscated from the younger Paslon were a sachet of suspected "shabu" (methamphetamine hydrochloride), three lighters, P2,050 in cash, and P1,500 marked money.
Recovered from Elma Fernandez were six sachets of shabu, coin purse, drug paraphernalia, P100 marked money.
Katalbas said the recovered illegal drugs has an estimated value of P150,000.
In Bacolod City, Glenn Fidel, 33, of Purok Pilit Jalandon, Barangay 6, Bacolod City, was arrested at Purok Dughan, San Juan Streets, Barangay 12 on Sunday, after he sold shabu to a police agent for P500.
Police seized from him six sachets of shabu worth P6,000, and the P500 marked money.
Fidel is considered a high-value target of Bacolod City Police Office.
