THE cities of Mandaue and Lapu-Lapu will no longer extend the application and renewal of business permits.
The deadline for the business establishments to secure a business permit will be on January 20.
According to the Mandaue City Public Information Office, the City Treasurer Office announced that there will be no extension of the Business One-Stop-Shop permit renewal in JCentre Mall.
City Mayor Gabriel Luis Quisumbing asked the business owners to secure a business permit on time so penalties will not be imposed.
In Lapu-Lapu, City Mayor Paz Radaza said there will be an increase of 10 to 15 percent of the number of establishments this year compared to the 12,000 businesses last year.
She said it is now the City’s fourth year that they did not extend the renewal and application of business permit. (FMG/SunStar Cebu)
