DAVAO City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio appointed Paul Revildo E. Bermejo, supervising administrative officer of Ancillary Services Unit (ASU), as the new ASU office-in-charge.
Duterte-Carpio appointed Bermejo through a memorandum dated January 3, 2018.
"In the interest of public service, you are hereby designated as officer-in-charge of the City Mayor's Office-Ancillary Services Unit effective immediately," Duterte-Carpio said.
"As such you shall take charge and be responsible for the day to day operations of the aforesaid office. Matters pertaining to policy determination shall be held in abeyance or be referred to the undersigned or higher authority, for proper disposition," she added.
This developed after Rhodelio Poliquit, the previous head of the ASU, resigned from his post to accept the position as assistant regional director of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Cagayan de Oro City.
The order was released by the City Mayor's Office last January 4, 2018, it was signed on behalf of the mayor by Davao City administrator lawyer Zuleika Lopez.
