MAXENE Magalona was a picture of happiness as she met her groom in the Odelle bridal dress from Vera Wang's Iconic Wedding Dress Collection. The newlyweds held their laid-back-yet-elegant island wedding ceremony by the beachfront of Shangri-La's Boracay Resort & Spa.
Maxene Magalona is officially Mrs. Rob Mananquil.
With family and friends celebrating the union of Maxene and Rob, the bride wanted to make sure that the memory of her late father, Francis Magalona, was remembered on her special day.
Just like her sister Saab, who wore a locket with a photo of their dad at her wedding back in January 2015, Maxene’s bridal bouquet had a locket attached to it.
Floral and event designer Teddy Manuel helped the bride achieve this, as “a touching sentiment to share and remember her father on her wedding.”
Apart from this, another way Maxene honored her father’s memory on her wedding day was during her walk down the aisle. Instead of playing a typical wedding song, the 31-year-old Kapamilya actress chose none other than her own dad to sing her wedding march.
The Master Rapper’s 1996 hit “Girl Be Mine” played as she began her march. Pia Magalona met her daughter halfway and gave her a tight hug before they met Rob at the altar.

Aljur Abrenica and Paulo Avelino both laughed off rumors that they had a relationship back in 2009, when they were still in GMA-7. Both actors are now with ABS-CBN, and they are part of the upcoming afternoon series "Asintado". In 2009, the news came out that both had an allege relationship.
In StarStruck IV: The Next Level. Aljur was proclaimed as the Ultimate Hunk, while Paulo was eliminated before the finals. The issue came out when both Paulo and Aljur guested in Tonight With Boy Abunda.
When Paulo heard of this, he said: "Ayoko na sanang alalahanin yung mga pinagdaanan natin..."
Aljur butts in: "Naka-move on na kami, e..."
On a serious note, Boy asked if how did they recover from the issue?
"Meron ngang ganun, tinawanan lang namin ni Paulo yun, e."
Paulo noticed that some people say his effeminate: “Sabi nila, medyo malambot daw ako, na mukhang totoo naman. Ayun, siguro naging close rin talaga lahat ng ka-batch namin sa StarStruck. At siguro na-misinterpret lang yun. Siguro the way I move, medyo feminine nga raw. Pero hindi naman siguro dun nabe-base ang pagkalalaki ng isang tao."

Angel Locsin os one of the hosts of this ABS-CBN's show. In its previous seasons, Luis hosts for this program.
What would Angel comment on this?
“Honestly, hindi kasi ako nakikialam sa decision-making, e, kaya ayaw kong magbigay ng comment tungkol diyan. Ang alam ko, mayroon siyang show na gagawin. Hindi naman nawawalan ng show si Luis, kasi isa siya sa pinakamagaling na hosts dito sa Pilipinas. Ako rin naman, ginagawa ko lang yung binibigay sa ‘king trabaho, yun lang ang pwede kong sabihin.”
But would she consider working with Luis?
“Nagawa ko nga noong kasagsagan ng kaguluhan namin; ngayon pa, I don’t see the reason bakit hindi ko magawa now. Pero I’m fine kung hindi ko siya makatrabaho and I’m fine din naman kung kailangan ko siya makatrabaho.”
How's her boyfriend Neil Arce? How does she feel that some netizens bash her when she post intimate matters through her social media account?
“Hindi naman ako nagtatago, e. Sana lang na maintindihan niyo na nahihirapan ako na lagyan ng label, kasi kami, hindi kami naglalagay ng label, e, kaya wag niyo sana isipin na nagtatago kami or nagpapa-tweetums kami. Kasi kami rin, medyo hirap kami sa sitwasyon ngayon, pero ang importante sa buhay ay yung importante siya sa buhay ko. At ang laking elemento para sumaya ang 2017 ko…ang laking element ni Neil para maging happy ang 2017 ko, or pa-start na maging happy ang 2017 ko, kasi ang 2016 ko ay simumpa yata ako nun.”
Angel mentioned that she's doing a film with Richard Gutierrez. Is ABS planning to do another teleserye for her and Richard?
“I’m very thankful talaga, iba kasi yung pakiramdam na yung kasabayan mo sa trabaho ay nakikita mo ang laki ng in-improve, tapos tinitilian ng mga tao pa rin, at hinahangan pa rin ng mga tao, parang mapa-proud ka, ‘Kasabayan ko ‘to.’ Si Richard kasi ay hindi lang kasi nag-mature bilang actor, pati sa buhay at real life niya nag-mature na siya. Ang pinag-uusapan namin sa set ay about sa family niya na, about Sarah [Lahbati], about kay Zion, yung baby nila, kung anong plano at saan mag-aaral, ganun na yung usapan namin. Hindi katulad ng dati na [ang pinag-uusapan namin], ‘Saan tayo pupunta? ‘Anong oras yung call time natin?’ Yung mga small things. Saka makikita mo rin yung maturity niya sa set, ang galing-galing na niyang umarte. Nakakatuwa! Pero andun pa rin yung isang tinginan lang namin, na hindi namin sinasadya, pero basang-basa namin yung nuances ng isa’t-isa,” she explained.
