Council fetes Criminology board exam topnotchers

DAVAO-based academic institutions that produced topnotchers in the recent Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE) were hailed by the members of the Davao City Council on Tuesday, January 16.

The Council approved in suspended rules a resolution commending the Davao Central College through its president Dr. Delia Advincula and the University of Mindanao (UM) through its president Guillermo Torres Jr., for producing topnotchers in the recent CLE.

Resolution proponent, arts and education chairperson Pilar Braga said that such commendation is fitting after student of Davao Central College of Toril, John Denvert Sanoria, Bachelor of Science in Criminology graduate topped the CLE given last December 8-10 2017, with a rating of 89.50 percent.

The resolution also read that UM at the same time produced students who got places in the top 10, namely: Ariel Camote Olnagan of UM-Davao and Maria Rosalie Rosales Maglana of UM-Tagum, both were top five placers with the rating of 88.80.

The exam result was released by the Professional Regulatory Commission last January 12, 2018.
