THE Cebu South Bus Terminal (CSBT) will be temporarily closed at 10 p.m.
Saturday in anticipation of the closure of N. Bacalso Ave. at midnight for the Sinulog Festival.
The CSBT will reopen on Sunday night.
A temporary terminal will be set up on El Pardo St., right across the University of the Philippines Cebu Professional Schools, in the South Road Properties.
The first trip will be at 3 a.m. Jonathan Tumulak, CSBT security officer, said they will only open the CSBT once the Cebu City Transportation Office gives them the go-ahead.
Tumulak advised southbound passengers to leave before the CSBT closes.
A skeletal force will man the CSBT while it is closed, as it will serve as an evacuation center in case of an emergency.
Once the CSBT reopens, Tumulak said they will limit the entry of passengers to avoid congestion inside the facility. (JKV)
