#SHORTS: Unexploded ordnance hinder Marawi clearing; NPA attacks Cafgus in Kalinga, Contingents get P100,000 more

CLEARING. Clearing operation now goes in full throttle in war-affected areas here, even as government personnel have difficulty in dealing with unexploded ordnances (UXOs) buried some 10 meters deep.

AMBUSH. Members of the Civilian Armed Forces Geographical Unit (Cafgu) in Pinukpuk, Kalinga were ambushed by still undetermined number of alleged New People’s Army (NPA) members Thursday morning.

SUBSIDY. The the Sinulog Foundation Inc. (SFI) extended an additional cash subsidy of P100,000 to the 30 dancing contingents that will be performing in the grand parade tomorrow.
