Seafood for supper on Sundays (and Wednesdays, too!)

TODAY is Sunday and that only means Waterfront’s La Parilla’s dinner buffet spread spell seafood. If you’re itching to crack crab shells and savor the sweet meat, bite into tender kinilaw or enjoy the clean flavor of steamed fish, then this spread is for you.

“Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao calls out to all seafood lovers to turn mid-week and weekend dinners to memorable get-togethers over an enticing ‘Feast from the Sea’ in the fresh outdoors,” invites the hotel manager, Bryan Yves Lasala.

The seafood extravaganza set al fresco features a blend of Asian selections. You can start off the feast with some breads and rolls, assortments of Maki and Nigiri from the Sashimi Station, or appetizers like Filipino Ceviche, Prawns Salad or Shrimp Cocktail with fresh lettuces.

Get more of the sea and head over the Grill Station with the menu’s freshest harvests grilled just the way you like it. Choices include Blue Crab, Blue Marlin, Squid, Shrimps, Tuna Belly, Tanigue, Bagaybay, and Tilapia.

For your main courses, select your picks from the array’s hottest items: Steamed Lapu-lapu Fish in Sesame Ginger Sauce, Fried Fish with Black Beans Sauce, Mixed Seafood Bicol Express and Sweet Chili Crab together with some Seafood Paella.

For sidings, the Japanese Station presents Mixed Tempura (Squid, Shrimps, Fish and Vegetables) and Baked Mussels with Cheese while the Chinese Station highlights Seafood Siomai and Baked Whole Fish in Beurre Blanc.

And to top off the delectable dining experience, choose from a variety of Filipino dessert options: Biko, Suman, Cassava Cake, Binignit, Turon Ube and Turon de Langka among others. (With PR).

Always remember, your seafood fiesta happens every Sunday and Wednesday at La Parilla at the Waterfront Insular Davao.
