TWO brothers were arrested after they choked and hacked their 67-year-old father at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, in Barangay Bonbon, Aloguinsan town, Cebu.
Victim Celso Cabaluna, who suffered a hack wound in the head, was brought to Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center in Cebu City for treatment.
Randy, 46, was the one who hacked his father, while his brother Antonio, 38, choked Cabaluna.
Before the incident, Antonio had an argument with his father. He later choked him.
Randy later joined in the fight and hacked his father with a bolo.
Investigation showed the brothers were at odds with their father, whom they described to the police as rude. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
