FOUR suspected pushers were caught in a series of drug busts on Wednesday, January 24, by the operatives of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Central Visayas in three villages of Cebu City.
More than 100 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as “shabu,” with an estimated market value of more than P400,000.
At 2:15 a.m., Genie Yngayo Flores was arrested in Barangay Sambag 1, yielding eight big packs that weighed 50 grams.
In Barangay Calamba, at 3:30 a.m., PDEA caught Alfred De Erit Abellaneda and his sister Syvil.
The operatives confiscated six big packs of shabu after buying a P23,000 worth of "shabu" from the suspects.
At 5 a.m., Liza Buhawe Blanza yielded six big packs of shabu that weighed 50 grams after she was caught in Barangay Pasil.
Complaints for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Selling shabu is a non-bailable offense. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
