A 39-YEAR-OLD man drowned in the river on Wednesday night, January 24, in Sitio Pier Uno in Barangay Cantuod, Balamban town, Cebu.
Police Officer 1 Andy Mabanta, desk officer, identified the fatality as Honey Completo, a resident of Sitio Tunga, Cantuod.
Investigation showed Completo was seen by his neighbors drunk before he swam into the river.
Completo was later found floating lifeless.
Police advised the family to let Completo's body undergo autopsy examination to erase doubts.
Mabanta said investigators found no foul play behind Completo's death. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
