DOROTEA Moyes, the Australian citizen with Filipino roots and suspected drug mule, is facing drug charges.
The Fuente police filed the case against her at the Cebu City Prosecutor’s Office on Tuesday afternoon, January 30.
Fuente Police Chief Maria Theresa Macatangay said Moyes is facing charges for violation of Section 11 of the Republic Act 9165.
The case is non-bailable since Moyes carried more than one kilo of shabu worth P11 million, Macatangay said.
Moyes, who came from Perth, Australia, was arrested last January 27 after she turned over the illegal contraband to the hotel staff. (JOB/SunStar Cebu)
