CDC passes second ISO 9001:2008 audit

CLARK FREEPORT – Clark Development Corporation (CDC) has passed the second surveillance audit on quality management system in compliance with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001: 2008.

Tuv Rheinland Philippines, Inc., an independent testing, inspection and certification services worldwide, conducted the audit and issued recertification of CDC on the Provision of Business Development, Business Enhancement and Zone Management Services. This verifies the conformity of CDC to its standardized procedure.

The audit was conducted to ensure that CDC follows the ISO standard process. This assessment will also determine the efficiency and quality of services offered by the state-owned firm to its stakeholders.

ISO 9001:2008 is a globally recognized standard on quality management which acknowledges organization who were able to provide effective customer and regulatory services, following a quality management system.

CDC continuously improves the quality of service it renders to its customers as a support to the government mandate under Executive Order No. 605 — institutionalizing the structure, mechanism and standards to implement quality management program.
