MRT EXEC. Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT3) general manager Rodolfo Garcia on Wednesday, offered to resign after House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez implied that he is not competent to address the problems plaguing the train system.

SENTENCED. Cebu Regional Trial Court Judge Soliver Peras convicted a pimp for recruiting two women for sexual exploitation in 2014 and sentenced him to 20 years of imprisonment and ordered him to pay P1 million as a fine.

BASE CAMP. Moro groups have criticized anew the plan of the government to put up a second Armed Forces of the Philippines facility in Marawi City even as President Rodrigo Duterte, in his visit here Tuesday, assured affected land owners that they will be compensated.
