IN celebration of National Arts Month and as an early Valentine’s treat, a most anticipated concert entitled ‘Romantic Impressions’ will be given by international Italian concert pianist Massimo Folliero.
Maestro Folliero is currently on an Asian concert tour, and Philippines, particularly Cebu, will be the last leg in his itinerary.
Folliero has played in several important venues in different countries, including Carnegie Hall in New York City. He has also toured most of Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
The concert will be held at the Marcelo Fernan Hall, Sudlon, Lahug, Cebu City on Feb. 8 at 7 p.m.
Program will feature works of Debussy, the famous Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin, some Preludes by Rachmaninoff and finally, Chopin’s Fantasie, and Scherzi 1&2.
A donation of P500 is suggested, but any amount will be appreciated. Students will enjoy a 50 percent discount.
This concert is produced jointly by Spring Rain, Rudolf Pianos, and the Arts Council of Cebu.
