Joemel Garrido led Mexicali with 26 points and Ryan Agena added 19 points, Gifter Gigje made 15 points, JV Veloso shot 11 points, and Nohmar Bretaña III had nine points.
Nicole Antiporda paced Talisay with 19 points, Ryan Hugnatan added 16 points, JP Calma dropped 14 points, Irvin de la Peña had 12 points, and Bryan Alunan shot eight points.
Tiger-Singcang Destroyers squeaked past Colt 45 Fyr Fyter/Dobinsons in double overtime 110-109.
Dandrane Ermeo sunk a free throw with no time left to win it for Singcang. The game was also marred by two ejections on Fyr Fyter side.
Jan Nermal sizzled with 32 points for the Destroyers, Arjie Gicana drilled 27 points, Alvin Jamora nailed 25 pts., Ermeo and Rocky Acuyong shot 7 points apiece.
