Date night at Misto

ROMANTIC things come in threes, like “I love you”, or a three-course Valentine’s Day dinner at Misto.

For the second time in a row, the restaurant at Seda is included in Tatler’s Best Restaurant Guide for 2018. That makes the date night on the 14th special and Executive Sous Chef Giovanna “Bang” Flores-Sibala will make sure it will be. On the menu board is an Asian inspired gastronomic three-course wine-pairing dinner.

The romance on the palate starts with a delectable salad course, the Crab Stick, Avocado, Pickled Ginger, Baby Herbs and Greens with Honey Calamansi Dijon Vinaigrette. This is paired with the Apaltagua Gran Verano Sauvignon Blanc.

A little spice on your love life is always good. The chef interprets it on the soup course with the Shrimp in Spiced Coconut Milk soup.

For the main course will be the Teriyaki Glazed Salmon w/ Malabar Black Pepper, Bok Choy and Shiitake Mushrooms for main course. The Morande Sonador Pinot Noir is paired with this meal.

I will attest to the goodness of this three-course meal. Looking forward to your dinner date?

Here's another surprise. Like I said good things come in threes. With the dinner course are two more Misto treats—the carvery and dessert stations, both serving the best-selling dishes served buffet style.

A meal at the Misto won't be complete without having the Roasted Angus Beef Short Plate with Rosemary Gravy. Served on this station will be Saffron Rice Pilaf and a pasta dish, the Aglio e Olio Penne with Parmesan Cheese. Perfect wine companion for these is the Morande Sonador.

Misto will not settle for sweet when it can go sweeter with its lip-smacking desserts. Paired the Casa Bella Lambrusco Bianco Dolce wine will be these desserts: Strawberry Mousse Cheesecake Parfait, Chocolate Torte Cake and a couple of Valentine’s Day-themed classics.

You will be loved after your date night at Misto. But if you’re feeling extra generous, give her a three-carat diamond ring. Better yet, give her everything mentioned above—the dinner, the ring and the sweetest three words.

To match the fancy dinner, a movie-inspired setup with sweet harmonies of all-time favorite romantic films will fill the venue with love. This is available at P1,680 nett per person, with prior reservations required.
