THREE members of a criminal group were arrested at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, February 11, after a shootout with the police in Sitio Pundok, Barangay Cabangahan, Consolacion town, Cebu.

Chief Inspector Gerard Ace Pelare, the town police chief, said the suspects are members of Ampoy Group.

They are Lord Cham Marano, 20; Mariah Tomakin, 20; and Jerwin Marano Brigoli, 19.

Pelare said the suspect who escaped was possibly wounded.

The shootout happened during a drug bust.

Seized were 12 small packs of white crystals believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as "shabu."

The contraband weighed .35 grams worth P4,000, a Dangerous Drugs Board value.

A .357 revolver loaded with three bullets was also confiscated. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
