Central Luzon police gets new service motorcycles

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - As part of the capability enhancement initiative of the Philippine National Police, the Police Regional Office (PRO)-Central Luzon on Monday received 16 newly acquired service motorcycles.

The turnover of the Kawasaki Rouser 135 (Bajaj) motorcycles was held Monday morning at the parade grounds of Camp Olivas in this city.

The identified recipients were the Angeles and Olongapo City police offices which need the most facility augmentation which are considered gateways of the region due to their freeports.

PRO-Central Luzon director Amador Corpus said that the procurement of the motorcycles is very timely since several pro-active anti-criminality campaigns of PRO are very much in effect especially the campaign against motorcycle riding suspects and round the clock conduct of anti-criminality checkpoints and mobile patrolling.

“With this additional mobility, I am in no doubt that more positive accomplishments will be achieved in the future and that the public can expect the PNP-PRO3 to respond better to incidents and that the delivery of our police services will be more effective and efficient particularly in Angeles and Olongapo,” Chief Superintendent Corpus said.
