Santos Land celebrates growth and success

AN INDIVIDUAL, group or company must know only two directions: up and forward.

With the boom and rise of real estate sector in Mindanao, plethora of opportunities has been made available for all. Seizing the moment is Santos Land Development Corporation (SLDC), the pioneering developer in Davao City as it continues to grow its business profile and expand its presence around Mindanao implementing and fast-tracking multiple development projects here.

SLDC president Antonio Nicolas Domingo said in his speech last February 8 during their annual sales performers’ recognition at the Davao Convention Center that last year (2017) is SLDC’s year of new ventures and undertakings.

“SLDC has been in this business for the past 46 years, last year has been a year of so many new things for the company, we believe that it was and is still the right time to move forward, exploring other avenue for growth,” he said.

Last year, a new horizon opened for the company as it launched last October the Plantation Residences, the company’s first out-of-town residential subdivision in Makilala, North Cotabato.

The project will rise within a 19-hectare property, which will be divided into two components, the nine-hectare subdivision and the 10-hectare commercial component.

“The Plantacion Residences is already up for selling, also, just very recently we started the Makilala Commercial Subdivision dubbed as Banwa located besides the Plantacion Residences,” Domingo said.

Beyond the realms of the real-estate, SLDC also ventured last year to another equally booming sector: agriculture.

“Another biz undertaking we ventured into is the creation of another company, the ZintechAgri-bio Corporation, it is an agribusiness company with modern facilities located in Panabo City,” he shared.

SLDC embarks on first vertical projects, the Ivory Residences Condominium and Obsidian Suites Hotel in J.P. Laurel St., Bajada, Davao City.

This first twin development project of SLDC will rise on a 4,700 sq. meters area and are aligned to the local and national government's tourism roadmap.

“Another venture is our entrance to the world of condominium, it is our very first time to engage in high rise construction and first time in condominium, it is new to us but we are not afraid to venture into it because we have you with us, our trusted partners, the banks, suppliers, technical group, and most of all our knowledgeable, trusted, aggressive and dependable partners in selling, our sales people,” he said.
