Filipino-Australian enters ‘X-Factor Australia’ Final 4

FILIPINO-Australian Cyrus Villanueva on Tuesday clinched a seat in the Final Four of the “X Factor Australia.”

The 19-year-old wowed the judges and the crowd by singing Ellie Goulding’s hit song “Love Me Like You Do.”

Villanueva’s mentor, American rock singer Chris Isaak, felt proud after witnessing his student's improvement.

"I'm really happy that you took the hard way and not the easy way 'cause I offered you. You don't have to play the piano.' You could just sing. ...I'm proud of you,” Isaak said.

“We’re only two weeks away from the final and I think you did everything you need to do to be there, I hope you’re there, you deserve to be there,” added judge Guy Sebastian.

Also in the Final Four are Louise Adams, Big T, and the duo of Jess and Matt. (Eugene Abillar, UST intern/Sunnex)
