CLARK FREEPORT— The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) has received an award from the Department of Health (DOH) for implementing health programs.
The DOH Region III conferred on CDC awards for Public Health and Emergency Medical Services for supporting the health agency’s commitment to the Philippine Health Agenda.
CDC Health Services Division Manager Clemencita Dobles received the awards during the 6th Central Luzon Excellence Award for Health (CLExAH) held at Royce Hotel and Casino on February 13.
Dobles said CDC is very grateful for being recognized for its health services.
“Masaya kami na nare-recognize ang efforts ng Health and Sanitation Division (of CDC), at the same time thankful din kami for the awards,” Dobles said.
Aside from the award, CDC also received a Certificate of Appreciation on Best Healthy Lifestyle Initiative in support to the DOH health agenda.
Dobles said that the healthy lifestyle initiative is a continuing program of CDC for the locators.
“Ito yung program na ini-implement namin for the locators which we started last year,” she said.
As a pledge to the provision of health services by DOH, CDC also has ongoing health programs for both employees and locators inside the Freeport.
These include food safety, occupational safety and health, health information and training for locators on case-finding of hypertension and diabetes, health education, and free commodities and medicines.
