THE Davao City Transportation and Traffic Management Office has deployed a total of 1,381 enforcers to guide students and delegates throughout their stay within the city for the Davao Regional Athletic Association (Davraa) meet.
Davao City Transportation and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO) head Dionisio Abude said the areas of deployment of traffic personnel were near the billeting quarters and playing venues.
He added that he also designated personnel to escort vehicles from billeting quarters to playing venues.
"We anticipate that if they cannot come on time, they may forfeit their games," he said.
He said for each billeting quarter he assigned two personnel each.
“There are 11 billeting areas, we deployed 22, that is separate from personnel who were assigned at the playing venues and billeting quarters to arrange parking,” Abude said.
He said the assignments are from February 12 to 23.
To also guide the athletes for anti-jaywalking ordinance of the cty, Abude said they included in the Pagbabago Kits, which were distributed to the athletes last Sunday, the leaflets on provisions of Anti-jaywalking ordinance.
