Limlingan: Clark’s newest attraction: The Aqua Planet

THIS coming Saturday, February 24, 2018, Aqua Planet, the newest water theme park will open to the public. This means that there is another attraction to people who wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of work and find time for family or friendly bonding.

Aqua Planet is a world-class theme park on a 10-hectare land inside the Clark Freeport Zone in Angeles City, Pampanga. It has 25 attractions for guests who will be truly delighted with the activities that shall surely provide fun for all.

It has food, beverages and boutique items to complement the experience at the park. Food lovers will enjoy dining with delectable food and beverages on the side. There are various items for shopping including souvenirs to add up to the memories that will be created inside the park.

For a taste of the park, there is the Spiral Slide, a spacious slide with different speed and course; the Super Bowl, a 4-person raft ride with twists and turns; the Flow Rider, similar to the surfing simulator and the Tornado which provides the experience of being swept by a tornado with riders ending the experience in a pool.

In addition, the Octopus Racer is a racing slide with loops and tunnels; the Mermaid Bay, an ideal pool for kids with some thrilling attractions. Of course, there is the Lazy River which is intended for those who simply wanted to relax while enjoying being drifted by the flow of the river. The river by the way circles around the central island.

The Boogie Bay meanwhile is a large pool with dual wave functions, one for those who will be swept by the wave and one for swimmers who can swim against the wave.

Soon, Aqua Planet will also have its own hotel that will cater to those who wanted to stay, relax and enjoy Clark. The theme park is another jewel that was added to the Freeport. Since it provides fun-filled activities, it gives people the reason to go to Clark Freeport Zone especially during holidays and vacations.

Aqua Planet had its soft opening last November of last year. Since then, it has embarked on some civic projects such as free tours for hundreds of children from shelter homes. Recently, some 150 children of soldiers who fought in Marawi City were given the theme-park’s experience.

The said free tours were made part of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) Program of the developer and owner of the theme park, the BBI Group of Companies with Dr. Irineo “Bong” Alvaro, Jr. as its chairman and CEO.
