Korean gunned down by men riding in tandem

A KOREAN national who managed a restaurant in Lapu-Lapu City was killed by riding-in-tandem gunmen on A.S. Fortuna St. in Mandaue City last Friday night.

Sang Ho Lee, who resided in Barangay Maribago in Lapu-Lapu, was driving his black Toyota Innova when two men on a motorcycle appeared on the left side of his vehicle and fired several times at 9 p.m.

The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

The Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation brought Lee to the Mandaue City Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.

Members of the Mandaue Police Station (MPS) 4 recovered five empty shells and three slugs in the crime scene.

PO2 Jay-R Galadin of MPS 4 said that investigators initially considered the motive to be work-related. (FMG)
