BOARD Member Fritzie David-Dizon and Vice Mayor Dexter David led their three other siblings on Wednesday, February 28, as they donated 1,061 square meters to the Municipal Government of Santa Rita.
The donation includes parcels of land in Barangay Diladila that are currently the residence of dozens of indigents.
The David siblings donated the lands as a gesture of goodwill to the indigents and as support to the town’s program to finally improve the living conditions of the families concerned.
David-Dizon said they are following the legacy of their late mother, former board member Edna David, and late Porac mayor Roy David in giving help to the poor.
The Davids formally turned over the rights to the lands Wednesday in the presence of Mayor Ferdinand Salalila.
Vice Mayor David said their family wanted to help indigents even though these are not residents of Porac town. He said helping does not discriminate and should be accorded to all.
The David family, who owns large estates in different parts of Pampanga, is also donating of 3,538 square meters of private road lots linking San Basilio in Sta. Rita town and Pulung Santol in Porac town.
The David family was also instrumental in the donation of the two-hectare property in San Basilio in Santa Rita where the San Basilio High School is now located.
