Busy week

LAST weekend was rather hectic. I had to grace at least four events on top of errands and some self-pampering in between. Together with the other members of the Entertainment Group, I met upcoming singer Brian Gazmen, the voice behind the fast-rising song “Ayoko Nang Makarinig ng Love Song.” Brian is a young singer from the Bicol region. The song was played in the background while we interviewed the singer. It has a distinctive beat that usually enthralls the millennials and millennials-at-heart-and-mind.

I then bumped into local TV personalities in the opening of Colors and Peach Studio Salon in Mabolo. TV personality and event host Phoebe Kaye Fernandez co-owns the salon together with Mika Caram and Chad Varquez. The salon offers a variety of services to please one’s senses. Kapamilya host Jonathan Cimafranca also dropped by the salon.

Yassi Pressman teams up with Sam Milby in the upcoming movie from Viva Films, “Ang Pambansang Third Wheel.” The film launches nationwide on March 14.

The Pia Wurtzbach-Gerald Anderson starrer “My Perfect You” (Star Cinema), which was originally scheduled to open last Wednesday, will finally be shown nationwide on March 14 also.

Wanna beat the heat at this time of the year? Don’t look far. Cebu is blessed with beautiful beaches that make it a favorite spot for both local and domestic tourists. You just have to be adventurous to be in these places.
