THE 2018 Metrobank Art & Design Excellence (Made) makes a stopover in Davao City on March 1-3 in SM Lanang Premier.

A series of art exhibits, workshops, and lectures brings art closer to the community through an initiative by the Metrobank Foundation Inc. and its partners: Art Made Public.

This year, the exhibition presents Masjid/ Mosque Architecture: Jewels of Philippine Islamic Faith -- an exhibit that features over 30 mosques, showing the anatomy of Islamic architecture and their aesthetic principles.

This exhibition is made interactive through accompanying lectures: Dr. Gerard Lico, project director of the MET Rehabilitation and Conservation Project, talks about the jewels of Philippine Islamic Faith; while multi-media artist Abdulmari Toym Imao Jr. talks about Shaping Culture through Installation Art. Discussions led by both bring in valuable insights on art and society.

Art Made Public is a nationwide travelling exhibition that aims to spread awareness on Philippine art and design by bringing the experience of art appreciation to various public spaces. Immerse into a journey of art and culture and discover it all in Art Made Public.

Art Made Public is also the contribution of Metrobank Foundation, National Commission for Culture and the Arts, The Manila Metropolitan Theater, United Architects of the Philippines, and SM Supermalls to the celebration of the Philippine National Arts Month held every February of the year.
