POLICE arrested on Wednesday four suspected drug pushers in a drug-bust operation in Davao City.
The San Pedro police, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) conducted a buy-bust operation at around 2:20 p.m. at Purok 7, Trading Boulevard in Barangay 37-D that led to the arrest of Rey Malacura Palen, 33, a cellphone technician, of the same place.
The suspect was arrested after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a police operative who acted as a buyer in exchange for the P500 marked money.
Also seized from the suspect's possession were three other sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P6,000.
Police also arrested three other suspects who were caught in the act conducting shabu session.
The suspects identified as Jun Louvie Pacbalan Pajaron, 28, and a resident of Purok 10 in Barangay 76-A; Marilyn Gumapac Bacay, 24, and a resident of Purok 8, Barangay 76-A; and Romulo Arangco Mangaron, 39, of the Phase 7 in Ecoland.
Other items seized were assorted paraphernalia with races of shabu residue.
The four suspects is presently detained at the San Pedro police, awaiting the filing of charges for violation of the Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
