4 police stations, 2 units commended

FOUR police stations and two other police units in Bacolod City were commended on Monday for their excellent performances in police-initiated operations from February 1 to 28.

Commended were Police Stations 2, 4, 5, and 6, the City Mobile Patrol Group, and the Bacolod City Mobile Force Company.

Senior Superintendent Francisco Ebreo, officer-in-charge of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), led the giving of certificates to the station commanders during the flag raising ceremony at the BCPO headquarters Monday.

Those who received the certificates were Chief Inspector Benedicto Villarias Jr. of Police Station 2, Chief Inspector Ritchie Gohee of Police Station 4, and Jovil Sedel of Police Station

Also recognized were Police Station 5 headed by Chief Inspector Sherlock Gabana, City Mobile Patrol Group, and Bacolod City Mobile Force Company under the supervision of Superintendents Julie Cabrera and Richie Yatar, respectively, for their accomplishment on anti-criminalities.

Of the 10 Police Stations, Station 2 topped in the campaign illegal drugs while Police Station 6 ranked first in the campaign against illegal gambling. Police Station 4 also topped the campaign against loose firearms and in “Oplan Katok.”

Senior Inspector Armilyn Vargas, public information officer of BCPO, said the city police also acknowledged the voluntary and unwavering services rendered by Public Safety Officers of Barangay 11.

Adonis Figueroa and Jose Mabilog Jr. received certificates of appreciation from BCPO.

Ebreo thanked everyone who committed support to the police in establishing peace and order in the city. (GYM)
