ACTOR Baron Geisler was arrested on Monday afternoon, March 5, after threatening to kill his brother-in-law in his house in Angeles City, Pampanga, a police official said Tuesday.
Police responded to a complaint by Michael Robin Stone Morales, the actor's brother-in-law, who said Geisler was in front of his house holding a kitchen knife and threatening to kill him.
Police Regional Office 3 spokesperson Fe Grenas said policemen from Angeles City Police Station 3 arrested the actor in Barangay Pulung Maragul, Angeles City.
Charges of grave threats, alarms and scandals and illegal possession of deadly weapons were filed against Geisler.
He is temporarily under the custody of Angeles City Police Station 3.
Earlier, Geisler uploaded a photo of him with a bruised faced on Instagram and said he was beaten up by a family member over financial issues.
In response, Morales in a Facebook post said Geisler forcibly entered their house drunk and asking for a fight. He said Geisler “asked for it.”
Geisler was also arrested in October 2017 after allegedly making a scene at a resto-bar in Tomas Morato, Quezon City. He denied the allegations. (SunStar Philippines)
