Alpha Aviation becomes 1st CAAP off-site exam center

CLARK FREEPORT -- Alpha Aviation Group (AAG) recently granted accreditation by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) as its first-ever off-site examination center in Clark, in response to the growing needs of pilots-in-training and flight training schools across the country.

As the host facility, AAG provided a fully-furnished and fully-equipped air-conditioned testing room capable of housing an initial 10 work/examination stations linked to the CAAP main office server and monitoring systems.

“This partnership with CAAP is AAG’s humble contribution to our collective aim of making the Philippines as the region’s premier aviation training hub,” Cristopher Magdangal, AAG regional director for Asia-Pacific, states.

Two more off-sites are expected to be put up soon to cater to the requirements of Visayas and Mindanao.

The CAAP-AAG off-site examination center will be inaugurated on March 12, 2018 at 1 p.m. with AAG, Department of Transportation (DOTr), CAAP, and Clark Development Corporation (CDC) officials as special guests.

AAG is a well-established provider of aviation training solutions offering a wide portfolio of services specializing in cadet assessment, selection, type ratings, and ab-initio training programs tailored to our clients’ operational needs.

It is also an Approved Training Organization (ATO) and a certified Type Rating Training Organization (TRTO) for the Airbus A320, working with client airlines across the globe.

The aviation firm in Clark is also European Aviation Safety Agency approved Level D Airbus A320 Full Flight Simulator and Airbus A320 Fixed Base Simulator in the Philippines and region, making us uniquely equipped to provide world-class pilot training from zero hours to fully qualified First Officer.

Out of 360 pilots at Vietjet, 89 are AAG graduates. The AAG in Clark is fast growing and focused on investing heavily to support the local aviation industry and market globally that the Philippines as a great place to learn to fly.
