THE Binibining Sugbu Charity Foundation Inc. and the Sacred Heart School for Boys (SHS-B) Batch 1985 Foundation Inc. organized a disaster relief operation last Jan. 23 in Don Bosco Training Center for the fire survivors of Barangay Pasil, Cebu City.

Binibining Cebu 2017 Apriel Smith, Binibining Cebu Tourism 2017 Samantha Ashley Lo, and Binibining Cebu Charity 2017 Maria Gigante led the rest of the finalists of Binibining Cebu 2017 in distributing goods to over 700 affected households, who survived the fire last Jan. 14.

Along with them were the gentlemen of SHS-B Batch 1985 headed by its president Kenneth Lim, Binibining Cebu project chairperson Raymond Tio, and Regional Development Council 7 chairperson and industrial designer Kenneth Cobonpue.

Also giving assistance were the Philippine Army and the Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas with Secretary Michael Dino at the helm.

In the foundations’ quest to uplift Cebu’s tourism through promoting Cebuano beauty, culture, and heritage and continuing its charity works, various initiatives and projects are being planned out in the upcoming months.
