Gacad: Sari-sari

HERE’S a shout out to the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) for swiftly acting on my complaint regarding the ATM skimming incident of my accounts with them. The stolen money has already been credited back to my accounts and their immediate action deserves a warm applause (clap, clap, clap). Thank you very much BPI and LBP and congratulations for your immediate and swift action. In particular, allow me to thank Ma'am MJ Panansar of BPI Burnham and Sir Joselito Hernandez of LBP Baguio for being very accommodating and helpful during the processing of my requests. Mabuhay po kayo!

Civil service examinations (also public tendering) are examinations implemented in various countries for recruitment and admission to the civil service. They are intended as a method to achieve an effective, rational public administration on a merit system. Here's wishing goodluck to my dabarkads Mani, Knoll and Kurt for the exam this coming Sunday, March 18. Relax, relax lang, don't overthink and don't stress too much. Believe in yourselves because there are many people who believe in you, too. "Break-a-leg!" Jonathan? Sige na nga - yes, we believe also. Sabi ni Miguelito original member ka pala ng UB Pep Squad? Toinks!

The on-going semi-final series in the PBA Philippine Cup can be very heart-breaking - especially for Ginebra diehards Miguelito and Jonathan. Of course my EIC Rod is smiling and laughing his heart out with the way SMB stole game 2 from the Barangay. Panalo na naging olats pa . . . ay apo. Here's hoping Coach Tim finds his team magic shoes to wear for games three to seven otherwise, it will be a sweep for the defending All Filipino champs. Once you read this missive, I pray it will be 1-2 and not 0-3.

The auditors from the Mining Industry Coordinating Council (MICC) are in town to do their rounds at Benguet Corporation's Acupan Contract Mining Project (BC-ACMP) in Itogon and Lepanto Consolidated Mining Company in Mankayan, Benguet. The team will be spending the whole week revalidating the findings of the first DENR mining audit during GLo's time in 2016. There's nothing to be worried about if you have been complying with the mandatory and general requirements of the law. Good luck and we can only hope for the best.
