INFRASTRUCTURE and tourism developments at the Clark Freeport Zone are seen to entice millennials to work and live within the zone.
Among these projects is the airport expansion project.
Alexander Cauguiran, officer in charge of the Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC), presented the project and its impact to about 70 labor, human resource and industrial relations professionals during the general membership meeting of the Clark Human Resource Council (CHRC).
Evangeline Tejada, Clark Development Corporation (CDC) vice president for Business Development and Business Enhancement Group, presented to the group the upcoming tourism projects.
She noted that CDC is positioning Clark as a tourism destination.
Kapampangan travel blogger Jan Guiwan, 31, cited Clark’s stress-free environment that is conducive for productivity.
“Lesser pollution and lesser traffic jams are main factors for me wanting to be employed here in Clark,” said Guiwan.
“I will be writing articles on my blog site (Kapampangan Traveller) to promote Clark,” Guiwan added.
Travel and food blogger Denise Anne De Jesus, 26, said Clark provides an opportunity for work-life balance.
She also cited faster connectivity and relaxing scenery.
“Clark is said to be the next Bonifacio Global City and I am excited to witness the major developments here especially the New Clark City,” said De Jesus, who was recently hired as a skills and placement assistant at CDC.
Meanwhile, CHRC president Vonn Angelie David congratulated the new board of trustees, composed of Alpha Aviation Group, Clark Electric, L&T International Group Philippines Inc., OMNI Aviation Corporation, Singapore Airlines Engineering Philippines, United Parcel Services (UPS) Clark, Yokohama Tire Philippines Inc.
