Mobile force, police stations get 12 new patrol cars

TWELVE brand new patrol vehicles were given to selected police stations and Provincial Mobile Force Company in Western Visayas.

Superintendent Gilbert Gorero, spokesperson of Police Regional Office (PRO)-Western Visayas, said Wednesday, March 14, the vehicles came from the Philippine National Police (PNP) headquarters in Camp Crame.

Each Mobile Force Company of Negros Occidental, Capiz, and Antique provinces received one Toyota Hilux vehicle for mobility and daily patrolling.

Police Stations of Ilog town and Sipalay City in Negros Occidental were each given one patrol car.

Municipal police stations of Miag-ao, Bingawan, and Lambunao in Iloilo province; Dao and Dumalag in Capiz province; and Bugasong, and Valderama in Antique province were provided each with one patrol car.

The turnover ceremony was Monday, after the donning of ranks at the PRO-6 headquarters in Iloilo City. (GYM)
