PSE joins global bell ringing

THE Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc. (PSE) had a special bell-ringing ceremony on Wednesday to raise awareness on gender equality.

PSE was one of over 60 exchanges that participated in the global initiative that calls on the private sector to advance gender equality and women empowerment.

The special bell-ringing ceremony was attended by PSE directors and management committee members and officers of various women organizations.

The “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” program is organized by the Sustainable Stock Exchanges, UN Global Compact, UN Women, Internal Finance Corp. (IFC), Women in ETFs and the World Federation of Exchanges.

Leading the ceremony were PSE chairman Jose T. Pardo, PSE president and CEO Ramon S. Monzon, PSE directors Vivian Yuchengco and Amor C. Iliscupidez, and PSE corporate secretary Aissa V. Encarnacion. (PR)
