Man, 22, found dead in Barili

A 22-YEAR-OLD man was found dead on Thursday morning, March 15, on the seashore of Barangay Giloctog, Barili, Cebu.

Police Officer 2 John Robert Sacan, desk officer, identified the fatality as Jonel Pagar, a resident of Barangay Patupat.

Investigators are looking into the possibility that foul play was involved in Pagar's death, as they found a wound in his forehead.

Sacan said Pagar was possibly hit by a hard object.

He added that Pagar had no criminal records in the police station, as well as in Barangay Patupat.

The police learned about Pagar's death after a village official of Giloctog reported it.

A team of police officers who went to Giloctog brought Pagar to the town's public hospital, where he was declared dead. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
