A 19-YEAR-OLD lesbian is facing criminal case in court for allegedly sexually harassing her minor girlfriend inside their house in downtown Cebu City last year.
Prosecutor Misty Leah Hupp found evidence to charge Patricia Ann Entoma with violation of Republic Act 7610 (Anti Child Abuse Law) before the Regional Trial Court.
“Complainant fell prey to Patricia’s sweet talks that she blindly followed the latter to her lair,” read Hupp’s resolution.
Bail is set at P200,000 for Entoma’s temporary freedom.
The 16-year-old victim admitted being in a “dating relationship” with Entoma, whom she met on July 2, 2017.
Last Sept. 21, 2017, the victim said that Entoma invited her to accompany her to a mall in downtown Cebu since she wanted to buy textile for her on-the-job training in school.
But instead of going to the mall, the accused led the victim to a house, whom she said is owned by her relatives.
Entoma told the victim to take a nap first before they would go the mall to buy textiles. But moments later after she fell asleep, the victim said she was awakened when the accused tried to remove her shirt and bra.
The victim said the accused started kissing her and caressed her breast and touched her other private body parts.
“She (Entoma) suddenly acted fierce and wild,” the complainant said.
The victim said she resisted, but Entoma reportedly started “biting every square inch of skin on her neck, breast, and cheek.” The victim said she pushed Entoma and ran outside of the house and went home.
The victim’s mother reported the incident to the police after she noticed that her daughter could barely walk due to bruises all over her body.
Replying to the charges, Entoma admitted being in a relationship with the victim. She insisted the victim consented to have “several kiss marks on each others’ body.”
Entoma said she was surprised by the victim’s complaint and that she could never hurt someone she loves.
In the resolution, Prosecutor Hupp gave weight to the victim’s allegations against Entoma.
“It was upon the machinations of Patricia (Entoma), an adult, that complainant found herself in a helpless situation,” said Hupp.
The prosecutor also struck down Entoma’s defense that it was the victim who consented to be kissed, saying the physical injuries sustained by the complainant “are clearly tell-tale signs that she was subjugated by force.” (GMD)
