Wanted: Talented Cebuanos

GOOD news for talented Cebuanos: It’s your time to shine.

Cebu Talent Network (CTN) is currently looking for talented individuals who can sing, dance, act, model—or even do magic! Audition master Marlon Hofer invites aspiring talents to join the weekly audition for new talents in Cebu.

“CTN is the performing artist’s gateway to stardom so we invite all talented people to make that first step in realizing their dreams. Audition now and be part of our dream team which will show the world what Cebuanos have got!” said Hofer.

CTN is the first and only audition reality show in Cebu.

The first of the three-season audition started last Feb. 25 and was held at Parkmall in Mandaue City. Other auditions followed last March 4 and 11.

This season will cap off with a semi-finals on March 25, where the Top 30 talents will compete with each other until the number is trimmed down to 15. Judging will be done 50 percent by public vote and 50 percent, judges’ vote.

CTN invites social media users to like its page on Facebook and vote for the video of their favorite talents.

Here is the point system: one like is equivalent to one point. One view is one point. A heart is equal to two points. A wow will make three points while a share will garner five points for the talent.

More auditions will follow with the second season to be held at the Robinsons Galleria. The third season will be at SM Seaside City Cebu. The grand finals will then be held at the Ayala Mall in December.

Talents who qualify will undergo workshops and training.

A film contract, music record, career exposure and other astonishing rewards await the grand talents, Hofer said.

CTN’s premiere telecast will be on May 13 from 2 to 3 p.m. on CCTN Channel 47.

The show will be hosted by Hofer, beauty queen and singer Duchess Uybengkee, and TV commercial model and actor Audrie Jedd Cortez.

CTN is a brainchild of MuStarDream Productions.

Judges are Hofer, MuStarDream chief executive officer Ren Ranche, actress and TV commercial model Debbie Uy and Al Consulta Bacolod, owner of Audionair, CTN’s official sound system, lights and full technical production provider. (PR)
