McDo PH now available on Foodpanda

FOODPANDA, the on-demand food delivery platform in the country, and McDonald’s are now partners in making meal time delivery more convenient for consumers. McDonald’s customers can now order their favorite meals like the Big Mac, World Famous Fries, or Chicken McDo via Foodpanda through the Foodpanda app.

Foodpanda is currently active in two cities in the country—Manila and Cebu—and has 600-plus food brands on board. It was launched in the Philippines in June 2014 and has since grown to having over 2,000 partner restaurants nationwide. Foodpanda allows users to conveniently discover food options around their neighborhood and directly order them online or via mobile app.

“Foodpanda’s partnership with McDonald’s shows that we at Foodpanda always strive to bring top quality and best restaurants on-board to satisfy what our customers are really craving for,” shared Iacopo Rovere, chief executive officer of Foodpanda Philippines.

McDonald’s Philippines president and chief executive officer Kenneth Yang also shares his excitement about the partnership.

“We are pleased to partner with Foodpanda as we strengthen our commitment to provide more convenient options for our customers to order and enjoy our food.”

Several McDonald’s stores in Metro Manila and Cebu City will be present in the Foodpanda app, with more set to come in later this year to be able to reach more customers and serve them better. Possible special menu offers and exclusive deals are what Foodpanda and McDonald’s customers can look forward to. (PR)
