REGISTRATION for the Allianz PNB Life National Youth Cup Cagayan de Oro leg is now going on.

Club and school teams who want to join the two-day tournament set on May 5-6 at different venues in the city, are invited to join the competition said organizer and CMORFA president Percy Guarin.

The tournament is a national wide competition for Boys U16 (born 2002), Girls U16 (born 2002), Boys U14 (born 2004), Girls U14 (born 2004), Boys U12 (born 2006) and Girls U12 (born 2006).

Nine other regional football associations all over the country are hosting local competitions. They are NCR, Baguio, Naga City on April 30-May 1), Iloilo, Negros Occidental, Cebu April 28-29), Davao and Dipolog (May 5-6).

The CdO leg will be held at the Pagatpat Elementary School covered court, Kasuwagan Elementary School covered court, and Bulua National High School covered court.

Winners in the U16 and U14 divisions from the nine leg tournaments will advance to the regional elimination on May 12-13 for Luzon, May 19-20 for the Visayas and May 26-27 for Mindanao.

Winners in the regional competition will then advance to the national finals in La Salle Greenhills, Manila on Jun 2-3. Top players will then be selected to train and visit top German club Bayern Munich.

After the tournament the PFF is expected to produce a black book which will list the top Futsal players and coaches in the country. They will then undergo further training and competition to make them better Futsal players and coaches.

The main organizer of the tournament is Philippine Football Federation (PFF) Futsal Executive Director Kevin Goco. He also works for Gawad Kalinga, and the Danny Moran Foundation, the prime mover of this tournament.
