Naa kay plano moapil og balik sa Bb. Pilipinas?
Sa pagkakaron wala pa. I don’t have definite plans yet. For now, I’ll focus on my internship and when I’m done with it then I’ll think about it.
Were you disappointed?
No, I wasn’t disappointed with my performance because I know I gave it my all and I was there to give a good fight and I did. But sometimes things don’t turn out the way we want it to. Sometimes it’s just fate. That night just wasn’t mine.
What’s the best lesson you’ve learned after the competition?
This experience has taught me that no matter how great we’ve planned out our lives, His plans are greater. Everything happens for a reason and it probably happened to make me stronger.
After the pageant, what’s instore for you?
I’ll go back to being a doctor and finish my internship. Other than that I have yet to find out what’s in store for me.
Wa kay plano mo-work sa Cebu?
Yes, plano ko mobalik sa Cebu to practice. In the meantime, I want to get all the experience that I can get from a new environment, meet people from different walks of life and how to adjust to certain circumstances.
Pareho ba mo ni Bb. Pilipinas-Universe Catriona Gray nga naa sa Kagandahang Flores beauty camp?
Catriona is an Independent candidate. Yes, we talked and she’s really nice. We just talk about random stuff. Anything under the sun.
Kinsay mas close nimo among the candidates?
I’m pretty close with Vickie Rushton since we both belong to the same camp and we both came from the same school in college (University of St. La Salle Bacolod). Vickie is really beautiful and even more beautiful when you get to know her.
What about Michelle Gumabao?
Michele is also nice, she’s easy to talk to and has a bubbly personality.
You said before the pageant that you were intimidated by their presence. How did you manage your emotions?
I wasn’t really intimidated by them rather I was a bit pressured to do more than what I know I can do. Before I get on stage I pray and ask for God’s guidance and it really helps me calm my nerves. When on stage I just enjoy the moment and give it my all so I won’t regret anything.
